Meet Our Horses

At Horses Save Humans, we have a variety of horses with different personalities and backgrounds. Each of them has their own story and they are all waiting to meet you. Come and visit our facility in Honokaa Hawaii to learn more about them and the amazing work they do to help our community.

Mea

Mea is 26 years old quarter horse chestnut mare. She loves teaching people about horses and how they communicate. She is patient, steady and calm. Those who get to spend time with her leave more grounded.

Doc

Doc is 26 years old and a favorite for all! He holds space for those who come looking for healing. He instantly cares and love attention and we are blessed to have him here

Sassy

Sassy is 15 and falls asleep when grooming her. She enjoys all the attention so much she will move to her favorite spot. She can be Sassy to other equines but is a friend to all humans.

Lio

Lio is 8 years old. How name means horse in Hawaiian. He is just that a horse. He loves to be in everyone's business and wants to be involved. He is young and develops in people awareness to boundaries. Need to have more of him!

Sydney

Sydney is a 20 year old registered miniature horse and a fan of all the kids. She has a heart space that allows people to breath and take a moment to pause in life. She is a doll!

Donkey Mafia

This herd of equines are donkeys who all have a personality to win each person over. Some are love bugs others test your ability to wait for them to accept you into their space. They are the best therapy practitioners ever!!!

Girlie

What an amazing horse to add to our herd! She is still in training but we love her. The owner is gracious for us to utilize her in our wonderful program. We can't wait until we see what she enjoys to do.
